Hey Harvest Church Family,
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” - Psalm 9:9-10 NIV
My prayer this week has been that you were able to find comfort, peace and hope in the Psalms. I know that they help me so much when times are difficult and find it best to combat all that has been going on in our world today.
I know many of you already know all of this but I felt it is a good reminder for all of us to hear it again. Today in one of my devotional readings stated, "Christians, let's not believe the lie of isolation that our emotions can feed us. We can find rest in God's comforting response to His forgetful people: "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before me." - Isaiah 49:15-16 NIV. He continues, God's care for His children is like the sun: it's constant. Even when the clouds obscure it, it's still there. It's always there."
It is great to know that God is so so good and near. That we can praise Him in the midst of the good times and the storms. He is so so faithful. I hope you find that true and that He is Your God.
Looking forward to wrapping up this series on Sunday and praying that you will have a great rest of the week!
Know that you and your family are prayed for each and every weeks! I miss many of you that I haven't been able to see yet but will be here for you when you are ready.
