Helping people discover Christ through the seasons of life

As I ponder upon the flurry of the morning activities and the chatter of family, I can't help but to be thankful to God for all that He has placed in my life.  He has provided more than we need and the love of family, amazing church family and friends.

Deuteronomy 28:1-6 tells us, "If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on the earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out."

Notice it is if we fully obey.  Walking in the center of His will is key. Allowing Him to guide and lead you and each of us being willing to obey.  Our world tells us, 'just do what you want, live how you want in your own eyes.'  But God is clear about how those blessings come.  Through a relationship with Him living according to His word and Living Word, Jesus Christ.

As you gather today, consider your family and their relationship that you and they have with God.  It is another opportunity to be thankful for them but also an opportunity to share the love and truth of God with them if they are not living according to His word.

1 Corinthians 22-23, Paul tells about why he lives and preaches the way he does, "To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings."

May you experience ALL the blessings of this day and His will for your life.
