Good Afternoon Harvest Church Family,
Well another week of our social distancing has passed and appreciate each of you for all of your understanding, prayer and encouragement many of you have sent to me through these days. My prayer has been that we will grow deeper in our appreciation for God and all that He has given, that we will grow deeper in our relationship with Him and that we will connect with each other.
Stephen, Jason and I have been working hard to help in planning for this coming Holy Week with Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. I would love for each of you to have palms to wave at home during our worship time tomorrow. Click HERE for a pattern that you can print, color and cut out to wave. We would love for each of your families to wave them and take a picture of yourselves and post it to Facebook for send me a text of your picture to share on Facebook page.
On Good Friday we will be having a service at 6:30 pm and want to be able to lead you and your family in communion together that evening. Please gather elements of juice and bread to have ready that night so that we can share together at the Lord's table on this special night of remembrance.
We have added another way to watch our services live. You can go to our web page click HERE and at the bottom of that page you will see "Two Ways to Watch" you can click on that picture of Facebook Live or the other and will be able to watch the service right from the web page without having to have a Facebook account. On that page is also a button for fill-able sermon notes and a children's page for your kids that you can print out and help them engage with the online service. There is also a button to be able to sign-up for online giving as well.
Let me just say that we miss all of you! It is not the same each week but we know that it is only for season and then we will be able to celebrate together again in person. Psalm 27 reminds us, "The Lord is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?...Teach me your way, O Lord; lead me in a straight path...I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
Stay strong and encouraged God is with us!
