Harvest Community Family,
Are you fishing or just sitting there? Sunday we looked at what it means to not just talk about living the resurrection but doing it. Christ-like love is a love that is a response to the love of God made manifest in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a love not only in word and speech but lived out, in and through our everyday actions. It is love that doesn't just sit there. It fishes!
Right now it is easy to get comfortable looking just at our own needs during this pandemic. That we hear of needs but fear, or complacency get the best of us. If we are truly in Christ then we should be caring not just for ourselves but for others. Putting action to our speech. I hope that you have been reaching out to others and checking in on them. Allowing them to hear your voice, encouraging them in prayer and strength.
It is great to hear reports from many of you that have been continuing to serve the community and church community and I just want to say thank you. As we slowly start getting back to the new normal I know that staying others minded will need to be forefront because Christ-like love is always "In Mission" meaning that it is always giving.
I am truly excited for what God is doing and going to do through each of you and how Harvest is going to see an even greater harvest of hearts and lives in the days and weeks to come. Let us not just sit but fish!
Have a great rest of the week!
