Harvest Community Family,
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” - Ephesians 6:12 NLT
The last two weeks we have looked at who our real enemy is in this world. Fear and chaos have been a staple these past few weeks and months. As believers in Jesus Christ we know that Satan is the true author of all that is going in our country and how he likes to disrupt and tear down any thing, any person or any system that has God at the center.
When we just look at the surface of life itself it is hard to see any good, any where right now. Satan wants to accuse, deceive, destroy and rip apart our minds and hearts. He wants all of us to focus so much on the external that we can not see who he truly is and what he truly wants.
Thanks be to God for the work that has already been accomplished through Jesus Christ! As we see through the dark veil of evil from our enemy, as those in Christ, we know that the victory has already been won. That we don't have to listen and allow the accuser, deceiver and destroyer have a single foothold.
When the devil talks and whispers accusations in our ears we know that if we are in Christ that those no longer hold us, because those past sins are forgiven. Romans 8:1 reminds us, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit." Can I get an AMEN!!
I am excited to share this week as we look to the Hope that we have and can have in this life. The victory that we can live and know as believers in Jesus Christ. This Sunday is our Annual Report Sunday a time to celebrate 2019-2020 church year and to look ahead.
Remember, the devil is a liar, Jesus is the truth. And when you know the truth, the truth will set you free. The good news is, greater is He who is in us than he who is in this world.
See you in person or LIVE on Sunday!
