Someone Worth Dying For

Sunday Veronica shared about how so many times we feel unworthy of the price that has been paid for us, through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We often go through life listening to what others have to say about who we are and often those are not very encouraging words.  We buy into they lie that we are not worth it. 

Ephesians 3:17b-18  "...And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ..."

Paul reminds us that we can never truly understand the depth of our worthiness until we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  It is that simple and that complicated.

We can not find our self worth in anything that WE can do.  We try too but it is not meant to happen that way.  The only true way to know how valued we are is by accepting Christ through faith and allowing His Spirit to transform our hearts, minds and lives.  Then we can truly understand the very depths of our true worth.

The bridge and second chorus of the song 'Someone Worth Dying For' states:

My prayer for you is that you will truly believe that YOU are someone worth dying for so that you may understand the fullness of God's love, will and direction for you life.
