Boy, do I need to hear this again today, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
So much going on this week with our crazy world that it is only God's peace that give us rest and guardianship of our hearts and minds.
I hope that you have spent time this week in prayer and praise. They truly are the pathway from panic to peace. One of the songs that helps me alot during times like this is the songs, 'Fear It is a Liar' click here or 'The Breakup Song' click here. They help to sooth my mind and heart and remind me that God has all things in His control.
It is great to know that God is so so good and near. That we can praise Him in the midst of the good times and the storms. He is so so faithful. I hope you find that true and that He is Your God.
My hope and prayer for you this week is that you will continue to put to memory our vision verse as Harvesters “They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” – Jeremiah 17:8
Looking forward to a great Sunday in Christ and beginning a new series to help answer from scripture some of the "Why is it that...' questions we may have about God and our relationship with Him.
Know that you and your family are prayed for and that I miss you and anticipating your return if you have been away.
